Two militant factions still wage war across the barren
landscape. One of which fights for the independence and advancement of
the machines, while the other seeks to restore the planet to a
habitable condition. There is a legend of an Irian cryogenics
laboratory, which threatens one and brings hope to the other.A group of pacifist androids have taken up residence in the Irian information hubs, devoting themselves to the preservation of Irian culture. Their physical attributes have atrophied with non-use, leaving them with non-functioning limbs and systems. Over the years of fighting, many of the fallen warriors were not destroyed. Instead, they were left malfunctioning or were salvaged by the Scavengers. These animal-like creatures have no allegiances, fighting only for themselves.
